New release wines! 2023 Pinot Gris and 2023 Pinot Noir
About the Pinot Gris | Starting off, this fruit was hand-picked, crushed and left to soak on its skins to gain as much flavour before pressing. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and barrels to give the wine a rich texture and fruitfulness.
Flavours of peach, spiced pear, grapefruit, musk, rose, meadow herbs and lambswool give way to ripe melon, golden pear, cashew and guava on the palate.
Best served chilled, this is a white wine for those who love a dominant stone fruit accent and a tangy acidic touch. It's a fantastic complement to antipasto platters.
About the Pinot Noir | Hand picked fruit was destemmed into small open top fermenters, plunged by hand, pressed and left in barrel to mature.
Aromas of boysenberry, raspberry, plum strawberries and cassis give way to cherry, blueberries and strawberry on the palate.
This drop will surprise beginner red drinkers with its lightness and approachability, and impress the more seasoned with its layered flavours. A fantastic partner to a hearty Tassie salmon or a chicken roast meal, yet light enough to stand its ground alongside a rich charcuterie board.
The fine print - both wines
Alcohol 13.0%
7.7 standard drinks
Suitable for vegans
Proudly Tasmanian made & grown
Every aspect of this wine supports local small businesses in Tassie in every way possible
All wines are professionally produced, boutique quality (grapes by Meander Valley Vineyard, winemaking by the exceptional Andrew Gaman)
